Special Event Liability
All external organizations and individuals hosting events on university premises must maintain insurance coverage that meets the minimum requirements outlined in the Insurance Matrix for Campus Space Use and provide proof of insurance, in the form of a Certificate of Insurance, before the start of the event.
Insurance coverage for external organizations and individuals without existing liability insurance may be obtained through any licensed insurance providers that meet university standards. Two options for obtaining appropriate event liability coverage are provided below, though use of these programs is not required and eligibility may vary by event.
Tenants’ and Users’ Liability Insurance Policy (TULIP)
Offered through Arthur J. Gallagher, TULIP provides event-specific coverage for eligible activities. This program is intended solely for use of campus facilities.
